Breaking: Yung Vito Found Not Guilty of Murder; Gets 25 Years for Aggravated

Funeral services for Mario “Slim Dunkin” Hamilton were held on Friday, December 23, at Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, GA. Rappers Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame and Travis Porter attended the homegoing, where scriptures from the books of Isaiah and John were read. Hip-Hop Enquirer attended the funeral services, where they captured video from inside the funeral, snapped photos and interviewed Slim’s mother, Janet Hamilton. She made a plea to her son’s killer to turn himself in. Noticeably absent from the program, however, was any reference to “Slim Dunkin.” Any references to the rapper’s stage name, “Slim Dunkin,” was noticeably absent from the program. Stage names to any rappers involved in the services were absent. Honorary pall bearer Waka Flocka was listed as Juaquin Malphurs. The program did refer to Malphurs as “Waka” in a special acknowledgment at the end. He reportedly helped foot much of the cost for the funeral. The suspect in the Dec 16 fatal shooting was identified as another local rapper, 28-year-old Young Vito, whose real name is Vinson Hardimon. Although details are limited and reports claim the altercation began over a piece of candy, Yung Vito has surrendered himself into the authorities.
