According to reports, Bow Wow recently ducked out on a performance at a roller rink, costing the owner thousands of dollars and possibly his business.

Bow Wow agreed to perform at the Chez Vous, a Dorchester roller rink on the brink of forever closing its doors, says the Boston Phoenix.

The rink's owner, Greer Toney reportedly hired the rapper and MTV's America's Best Dance Crew finalists Status Quo to perform at the event. Although he was given an advance, Bow Wow reportedly ducked out on the performance because of safety concerns.

Toney was forced to issue refunds because of the rapper's decision not to perform.

"I couldn't believe it..." Toney said. "I can't believe that any superstar like Bow Wow would do this."

Initially told by creditors that the rink would be closed down because of missed mortgage payments, Toney has now been granted more time to come up with the dough.
