Why is the 2008 Nebraska Presidential Caucus so important…IT COUNTS!

Unlike many other Caucuses around the country, the Nebraska Caucus is a “Binding Caucus”. What this means is that the candidate(s) that wins the Caucus on February 9, 2008 will win the Nebraska Delegates at the DNC National Convention. While the Democratic candidates will appear on the Nebraska May Primary Ballots, those votes will not count towards who wins Nebraska. This is why it is so important for Nebraska Democrats to participate in the 2008 Presidential Caucus. It is the only opportunity to cast a deciding vote for your choice in the Democratic Presidential Race.
