LETOYA LUCKETT STRIKES GOLD

After only 1 month on the charts, LeToya Luckett is about to strike GOLD. Her solo debut album, simply called LeToya landed at the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 200 and stayed in the top 10 for three weeks. The album is still in the top 20 percentile. A representative from her label said that The Recording Industry Association of America, (RIAA) will certify her album GOLD within the next few weeks for net shipments of 500,000 album. Her single Torn was #1 one for twenty-five straight days on BETS 106 and Park countdown - The first artist to do so since 2003, and the first female artist since 2001.
