'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss' exfiance A.J. Jewell has been killed.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss' exfiance A.J. Jewell has been killed, according to reports at MyFoxLA.

Jewell died after a fight at the Body Tap club, on Marietta Boulevard, where, according to police, he suffered "a severe head injury during the fight and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Investigators said they had no suspects is in custody Friday night."

A.J. Jewell was filmed with Kandi during some of this season's Real Housewives of Atlanta episodes. Viewers will remember Kandi's mother's unhappiness surrounding her engagement to A.J., but also the close relationship that he had with Kandi's daughter, Riley.

In September, Kandi told Essence.Com,

not only do I have my daughter living with me but now I am the legal guardian of AJ's 12-year-old twin daughters because his mother felt the responsibility was too much for her right now and she couldn't handle it anymore. He would have taken them with him, but they needed a strong female role model and wanted to stay with me.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family members at this time.
